Canvas email

I have a technical question that I am hoping someone in dcum can help me with. How do I login to and check my canvas email?. My kids teacher emailed me and sent an attachment which I can only view in canvas, but I don’t know how to get to that site. I have gone to parentvue but the email is not there in “synergy email.” Am I looking in the wrong place?

Canvas emails should be sent to your normal email address. I didn’t think you had to log in or anything. But if it’s something that you’re not seeing, maybe ask the teacher to send it through email or synergy (there are WAY too many ways to communicate in this county)?

To get into Canvas, you need to first log in to the web version of ParentVue, then go to Parent Resources on the menu. Then click on the MyMCPS Classroom link, which will take you to Canvas.
