When can we start signing up? for summer school?
Can they only take 1 A class in summer school?

I think summer school registration opens up in spring. March or April, if I’m correct.

Have you all gotten a handle on why he’s getting E’s in the classes he got them in?

Adhd we changed medication in January, was going toward other issues too! Hopefully he can keep up the work load. He is also in team taught classes and has an IEP

The site says information for 2023 will be up in March.

You can sign up for two classes per session, so your student could take two "A" classes for credit recovery during the first session. Looks like "A" is only offered in the first session, so they might need to find another way to do credit recovery for the other failed class.

Ok. My only fear is that with his issue being ADHD, summer school could be really challenging and brutal since it's condensed and accelerated. Which means more classroom time at once and little to no time breathe in between.

But I don't think you have much choice here given that he got E's, which he can't move forward with.

The only problem is some of the classes are for "credit recovery only," which means the the highest grade you can get is a D, in the pursuit of ticking the box for graduation credit, but not in the hopes of replacing the original grade and improving your GPA. Some classes do offer original credit, but it seems to be hit or miss on which of those classes do that.

Note that if your student got an E in both the first and second marking periods (as opposed to a D followed by an E), then special permission is required for credit recovery.

Ok in that case, OP, I echo what the poster above said. You need to engage the counselor in a path forward. When I had a similar issue with one of my DC (didn't fail due to any mental health disorder, just bad associations and behavior), I was able to work with the counselor to get my DC to retake the classes he failed or got D's in through Online Pathways to Graduation (OPTG). It was online-only and in addition to this regular school load, but he did the work and was able to replace the original grades. But again, this was done in consultation and collaboration with his counselor, which is how we were able to do it.

Have you met with the school to set up a plan...maybe a reduced schedule next year? More IEP support?

Definitely talk to the counselor and come up with a plan. Maybe an online course for one of the classes. Maybe a summer course taken somewhere else that is longer this providing more time to complete. Be open to ideas and options. Be sure that you have remediated the ADHD medication problem and out structures in place to ensure that the next semester is more successful.
