| How much homework do your child have at this particular CES? I've heard that the volume of homework is minimum. Is this true? Please share your experience. Thank you! |
| My child has very little homework, and thus far it’s all been in math (4/5), and not for the ces subjects. |
| This sounds unusual for CES. |
| I'd love to hear more about Oakview CES, I just came here to look it up. |
| My DC graduated several years ago, so things may have changed some since then. In our experience, though, the teachers routinely gave kids class time to work on their homework and other projects. Kids who used that time well, brought little home as homework. Kids who didn’t make good use of their class time were swamped at home. |
+1 -- this has been our experience with homework as well. Our child completes almost all the work at school, and has about 15 minutes per night, mostly in math. |
Yes, this (current 5th grade parent). There is definitely Eureka Math homework (though not every night), but the project-based humanities work is largely done at school. That said, there are occasional surges when some project work has to be completed at home. |

My son, who is in high school now, had a very good experience at Oak View. I don't recall a heavy homework load but they did have some extra year-end projects. One year it was a Ted Talk. Another it was a Shakespeare play.
