Anyone familiar with Exploring Frontiers or similar programs?

Have any of your DCs participated in programs like these? It doesn’t seem like the usual pay-to-play deal, but rather a recruitment tool. Thoughts?

Do yo understand that this program is limited to "rising juniors in Texas high schools" ?

Yes, my family lives in Texas, and there may be other posters here who do as well. But even if not, that’s why I stated “similar” programs.

Yes, my family lives in Texas, and there may be other posters here who do as well. But even if not, that’s why I stated “similar” programs.

My understanding is that it targets private Texas high school students regardless of income. Both my full-pay DC and her best friend who is on financial aid were nominated from their school to apply.
