what about short stories? I can think of two
Curtis Sittenfeld - You think it I'll Say it and Lorrie Moore's Birds of America |
I stopped reading Anxious People because the chapters were too short (and switch POV) so maybe try that one?
I’ve never noticed chapter length. Stopping and starting is a function of time and interest, not whether it’s the end of the chapter. Have you ever considered just ignoring the chapter breaks?

If you want really short chapters, I’m reading The Sun is Also a Star and it’s fantastic. The chapters are a couple pages each and switch POV between a few different characters.
I can only read short chapters now too. How about "Lock every door" by Riley Sager?
The Inheritance Games. It’s a trilogy that probably should have been a duology. I thought the first two were great. Very short chapters.
