Where you like to buy/browse lighting fixtures?

We are doing an upgrade on our basement and need to replace all the lighting fixtures, which are terribly dated and not our style at all (antler sconces! Ceiling fan with the palm-leaf blades!).

I like the variety of Shades of Light and Lamps Plus, looking for ideas of other places to browse/buy. Our style is transitional with a lean toward traditional, but not, say, maximalism-type traditional. Definitely not MCM, Scandinavian style or contemporary swoops of LED.

We need three sconces for the main room, another three for the media room and a fixture to replace the fan over the pool table -- probably a flush or semi-flush mount rather than a chandelier.

Ferguson or Circa (now called Visual Comfort)

Lamps Plus are fantastic to buy from. Pure quality all the way.

Look local for other options.

I have a chandelier from ballard designs. I love it. I ordered from 1-800 lighting and regretted it immediately. I had to assemble the whole dam thing. Ballard was definitely not as bad.

I’ve gotten lovely lights from pottery barn and Wayfair. I always pay my electrician to install them though.
