Birthday invite wording

Getting ready to send invites for DS’s 4th birthday party. We are having it at a venue that has a strict capacity of 25 kids max so we are inviting 24 kids and I have a strong feeling that all will plan to attend given past class birthday party turnouts. They do allow siblings under 18 month at no extra charge and they don’t count against the 25 max since they can’t really play in the kids gym. I would say half of DS’s class has younger siblings around 18 months (but some could be a little older like 2). Several have older siblings and I am worried a couple might bring them without RSVPing for them, which will cause an issue.

What text would you include on the invite - just A, just B (and they will get the hint that older siblings aren’t invited), A and B, or nothing at all and just don’t worry about it?

A - due to the venue’s strict capacity rules, unfortunately we can’t accommodate any siblings.

B - however, younger siblings under 18 months are welcome to join.

I'd keep it simple and say no siblings. It'll be annoying to have 18-month-olds tottering around that don't have anything to do. They will be in the way and stressful to parents.

A and B… if they cant leave baby at home with other parent they may not bring the invited child either.

We had a similar capacity issue for DS's fourth birthday party and I just wrote "Due to venue capacity we cannot accommodate any siblings over 18 months."

Just keep it simple at A. Some bozo will think its ok to bring their 2 yo b/c its close to 18 mo.

Does the venue check birth certificates? I’d cap it at age 2 and call it a day.

Just A...24 + baby siblings is a huge number of kids.
