My kid failed math in 9th grade so he needs to do the last semester over. How is a 3 week summer school class going to replace half a year’s learning?
Seems like it is impossibly difficult or a complete joke. |
| It’s a LOT. For an “easy” class, like Health, it is just time-consuming. (My older child took health in summer school a few years ago and my younger will do so this summer.) For a challenging class, it’s very difficult. My younger child took honors Precalculus last summer and worked their tail off. It was a ton of complicated content and moved very quickly. They managed an A but it wasn’t easy. |
| It would be hard. Use the free tutoring. |

If your kid already has some knowledge of Algebra, then the shortened summer course should not be too hard.
Get a tutor over the summer, too. Sounds like your kid needs a lot of help. |
