To be fair, the current VRSC players didn't get GA, the new girls brought in to play GA got GA

To be fair that's not at all how it went. There was never a guarantee certain girls would move to VRSC before the club was awarded GA.

If that is not how it went then current GA rosters should be a majority of last year's VRSC players...how many VRSC players from last season are on a GA1 roster this season?

There are not any VRSC players from last season on GA1 rosters this season. Zero. Nada.

Untrue. They’re there. They simply have a roster of 25 and several get cut weekly and can’t even sit on the bench. Think about that while you’re sipping it at the bar and shelling out whatever it is the club is asking for $ lol

Well it's not zero...but we know 2 on 2010, 2 on 2009 and at least 1 on 2008.
But - for the girls that were playing in VRSC EDP league still on that same level team? For the majority yes.
So, yes, the girls may have lost their spot on the Top Level team, but they didn't move down based on their skill.

Remind me why it matters how they got GA?

There are new MLSNext clubs in the DMV area? Had no idea.

There aren’t. Only DC Utd and SYC are the NOVA MLSnext clubs. The real question is why is VRSC saying lies about joining this league?

NE said that it's coming.

VRSC blamed how bad West Virginia did last year as the reason MLSNext didn’t offer them a spot this season. They will be eligible and are being evaluated this season for next year, with performance of top teams in EDP likely to be a major deciding factor. We were told that they were offered RL this year but turned it down in hopes of getting in MLSNext and also knowing not likely to become a ECNL National club with NVA / Loudoun.

Enlighten me. why would how a WV team performs affect any NOVA/DC teams getting MLS Next?

And agree zero chance they will get an ECNL national nod.

RL is about the same competitiveness as EDP anyway, and probably a lot less expensive.

There is virtually no chance that revolution was offered a spot in ECNL-RL. None. Nada. They were not even mentioned and Loudoun would no way support that bid, and their buddies at other clubs would be quick to squash it as well.

Question: Is it true that JJ left Revolution??
