What is the future of heterosexual dating when the number of men attending college continues to drop

I say this as a woman who knows that most women would like to marry a college-educated man. But as women dominate the educational landscape, how will dating be affected? Since there will be fewer male college graduates.

More college women will either not date at all or all will date the same dudes; guys will get more dates with more women.

More 30 something educated women will realize they will not find a spouse until they give up the college-degree requirement or the divorced dads start dating.

But this is not new. Many college educated men have always been fine dating and marrying women without degrees, so the dating pool among the college educated has always been lopsided.

Judging from other threads, like today, many of the women in college won't be heterosexual. So maybe it will all balance out.

They will be like me. I have a grad degree, my DH didn’t finish college. Not everyone needs college to be successful in life. He makes a lot more than me, too.

Why do you have to date a college educated male? College education doesn’t equate to intelligence or success.

More polygamy or polyamory

It doesn’t, but it certainly correlates with being more politically liberal. And women are more liberal than men, so they prefer to partner with liberal men.

More women transitioning.

I cannot begin to tell you how much licensed electricians and plumbers can make.
And really good Irish carpenters. The brogue, the finesse of their work and an old fashioned sense of what it is to be masculine. Most of these millworkes end up being general contractors and I can tell you the good and savvy ones make a very good living.
I am an architect in a high end firm and really, some of these guys are good catches. Just because one didn't go to college doesn't mean that person isn't smart.
These guys get right on task and deal too. No BS excuse about "opportunity cost" for why they are dragging their feet on marital responsibilities.

Everyone in the cities are gay or trans so who cares?

Maybe they’ll have to settle for cute artsy welder types

Most men cannot be successful plumbers, electricians, or carpenters. My husband didn't even know what a Philips head screwdriver was in his 30s. He can't paint or do anything with tools.

I have a PhD and fix my own cars, do my own plumbing, etc.
