| I have a 2019 Q7 which has been great, no issues, 31k miles on it. Everyone says maintenance costs are “crazy”. Any experiences? Spending a few thousand a year on maintenance and repairs seems to be a better option than trading in eating a 10k loss and buying new. |

I would be absolutely furious at spending “a few thousand a year on maintenance” for what is otherwise a very mundane, ordinary, mass market car.
I have an actual race car that I don’t spend that kind of money on in most seasons. Seriously, how could you tolerate that and not be angry ? |
| I have same car/year but only 10k miles on it. I get letters from the dealer once a week offering to buy it back. Same thing - I would lose like 10k for depreciation and end up buying something nicer for like 90k or 100k. Not sure it is worth it. |
A FEW THOUSAND per year on a car with only 31k miles? On anything less than 150k miles, that's definitely not acceptable, imo. |
A fool and his money are soon parted. |
Yes spending a “few thousand” is ridiculous - it’s 5% of msrp the first year and then you are spending 10%+ of value of the car every year on just maintenance. Insane. Even if maintenance includes tires, that is crazy. |
| I have a 2018 Q7 w/ 33,000 miles. I don’t think you spend a couple thousand a year on the car unless you’re counting gas. |
