| they make us pay this year and the quality is just as terrible. |

Ok.
Pack. |
| Must we have this same conversation every couple of weeks? School lunch was never good. Pack your kids' lunch or make them pack it themselves. |
I know, right? McDonalds also makes me pay and the quality is terrible. What is this world coming to? |
seriously |
| DS likes them so he buys 2-3 times a week. When he doesn’t like the options, we make a lunch. Easy solution. |
I'm not sure what your standards are. They used to be fine, ranging up to good. They really haven't gotten back to 2019 level. |
They are probably dealing with supply chain issues, just like the grocery stores are. And they are dealing with inflation. I doubt that their budget has gone up and all the staple foods are now more expensive. And my child is fine eating them so we let him. If you are not happy with the quality, then pack your child's lunch. |
| I wish there was more clarity for the younger kids. Some days my kid just wants the fruit and veggie, but she said she was told "she has to take the whole thing". I'd gladly pay full price for just the two sides. Seems so wasteful. |
They have to get the whole thing. Milk, main meal, fruit and vegetable. If they brought their lunch, they can buy milk individually. |
Same. My kid likes to buy two pizzas. I wish they had an a la carte option for the 2nd. You can't expect a 115lb 5'5 6th grader to eat the same portion as a kindergartner. And yes I do pack extra good for him. |
Even the adults get the same sized portions as the students. |
Very few kindergartners finish lunch, it’s too big for them. |
I wish they had different size options. It would be nice to not bring sometimes or have to think about packing lunch. My 185 lb high schooler gets that same portion and never buys lunch since he would have to eat 4 of them. |
| My second grader is 60lbs and will sometimes buy 2 lunches. The portions are small. |
