Question for those of you who used Sleep Easy Sleep Solution

Sleep training is going great...almost too great. Almost five month old DD is now sleeping completely through the night with no wakeups. She's not quite 14 lbs and according to the book still needs a dream feed and maybe one more night feed. This is not a problem, DH can do the dream feed and I can get up at 3 or 4. But she won't eat! Refuses to eat when we wake her. If we really really wake her then she's mad and won't go back to sleep. Do you think it's ok to just let her be and not try to keep feeding her? She's almost 14 lbs.

Check with the pediatrician but a five month old does not necessarily need to eat overnight. Our DS started sleeping through without feeds at 3 months. If her weight is on track, let her (and yourselves) sleep!

Are you nursing or formula feeding? The fat content of breast milk is higher in the evening so I would not wake her if she’s staying asleep on her own— she may just be full. Ask your pediatrician if you’re worried for her weight.
