I bought several pairs of J Crew jeans on a whim - boyfriend and skinny. They fit very snugly on the first wear, and after that they stretch out so much that by the second or third wear they are falling off and I need a belt. What is wrong with these jeans? I couldn’t go down a size and I don’t understand why they stretch out so much. Wish I could return them but I think it’s too late. |
Idk but I have the same issue. Super cute out of the dryer…all saggy by the end of the day. |
Only buy 100 percent cotton denim. |
Oh man I was thinking I had just lost weight. My favorite jeans have baggy diaper butt by the end of the day.
I think I need to buy them super tight, but then they annoy me for the first few hours I wear them and sometimes they upset my stomach. |
Same experience.
That said, I have two pairs I love. One is a boyfriend pair that is the perfect fit streched out. The other is a straight pair that is my go-to weekend/errands jeans because they are comfortable (though i do have to belt them). But they aren't my first stop for jeans to wear "out" or to work. |
I've recently had better luck with Old Navy!
I bought 3 pairs this fall and the jeans are pretty much the same out of the dryer as they are 12 hours later. There is none of that super sagging. |
Wow, which ones did you get? I used to always, no matter what have a saggy butt and knees by mid day with anything from Old Navy. Now it's J. Crew with that issue! |
These: They really do not shrink or bag. I wash them about every other wear and they stay the same pre and post wash! Mid-Rise Kicker Boot-Cut Jeans for Women 4499950020801 |
+1 and I have never paid more than $12 for a pair. Sometimes they are only $1, $2, or $6! They last and dont sag. Highly recommend. |
Everything I bought from JCrew turned out to be low quality. Hate their stuff now - even if it looked cute in the store or online, after a few wears thirst got holes, pants stretched out, sweaters start pilling. I won’t be fooled to shop there anymore. |
I buy the stretch Levis. I've been wearing them all winter and they haven't gone saggy. I don't normally buy skinny jeans, but I couldn't find anything else that fitted properly. |
What sweaters -- at a J-CREWISH PRICE POINT -- have you found that don't pill? |
Uniqlo has better quality sweaters. |
Anything jcrew made after 2015 is basically garbage. |
This unfortunately is true. I am a long time JCrew shopper, but rarely purchase anything from there for myself. I am distressed by the low quality of their stuff, although I did buy quite a lot of their bright kids clothes for my children when they were toddlers-early elementary. My DC1 wears some of their stuff now that she's in the size 14 range, but definitely a lot less than before. I still buy their basic tees and dress shirts for my DC2 but not as much clothing as before. |
