undescended testicle

My 10 month old had an orchiopexy last week to bring down his one undescended testicle. I knew there would likely be a size discrepancy, but the sac still looks exactly the same as pre-surgery (looks small and empty to me!). Dr assured me this is normal and testicle is there. Anyone else I’ve a similar experience?

My son’s looked the same (small and tight) until it started dropping from puberty. Per the surgeon, that’s normal. You should be able to feel it, and it won’t retract as it should be tacked down.
