My son was admitted into the CS major!
Good luck to anyone who applied! |
| In with 25,000 merit! He will need it because its $$$ |
| Congratulations! I had such a great experience at CU Boulder |
| Admitted! No merit or honors mentioned which is surprising (any chance those could come later?). |
| Rejected. Bummed kid here. |
| Also rejected. 32 ACT, 3.0 GPA big3 private. |
|
Admitted no merit. Congrats to those admitted - and to those that weren't - they will find a place - and it will be the right place.
|
| Admitted with no merit or honors mentioned to College of Arts and Sciences. 4.5 weighted GPA and 1450 SAT. |
Thanks for the kindness. Much appreciated. |
| OP here: No merit mentioned for my son (didn’t really expect anything). Do you have to submit a separate scholarship application for merit at Boulder, or is that application for specific other scholarships? We did not apply for need based aid. |
| Congratulations to those accepted. A big thank you to those who weren’t but still shared stats. Those data points are greatly appreciated by us junior parents. Hoping for great outcomes for all. |

Accepted, Biology. No merit. No honors.
3.96 UW 34 ACT 13 APs Significant leadership and volunteer activities National level awards 3 year varsity athlete |
|
Accepted Engineering.
4.0 UW 1560 SAT Good extracurriculars with leadership, Varsity level athlete, rigorous STEM load, Good APs and scores. Preferred Safety but relieved as I went there and loved it. Haven't heard anything on merit... |
This and the post above it make me think there may still be merit coming. Many schools share merit awards a few weeks after acceptance. |
But other posts above said they got the merit today. |
