| I'm looking for someone who could sew cushions for my outdoor furniture. Any recommendations in the DMV? Thanks! |

Unless they’re especially complicated, cushions are super easy to make and anyone who can sew would be able to do a simple box cushion if you have the fabric and supplies. I made some simple box cushions with ties using 3” foam/2” foam (depending on the furniture) and outdoor fabric from Fabric Place Basement in Alexandria, but note that outdoor fabric is pricey especially if you get a brand name like Sunbrella. Foam is also really expensive.
If you can’t find fabric in the color you want already made into cushions, this is likely to be more expensive than buying them already made, or at least not significantly cheaper. But most dry cleaners have the ability to sew things. I would check near you. |

Just a quick note that overstock has a lot of great sunbrella replacement outdoor cushions.
