How quickly do you need to cook defrosted fish?

Took frozen flounder filets out of the freezer yesterday morning and intended to use it for dinner but we ordered takeout. Can I use it tonight? Roughly 34 hrs out of the freezer. This feels like such a dumb question but I don’t cook fish very often, so I’m not sure what the safety protocol is here!
