Did I miss persimmon season this year?

I have made tarts etc with them but my favorite way is just slice and eat. |

NP.. what? You don't need to cook them. Just eat them. I love persimmons. I have a persimmon tree. Around here, persimmon season is done by around Thanksgiving, maybe a bit earlier. |

Sorry, OP. Persimmon season has come and gone but I would take PP’s suggestion to check out hmart.
But for future reference, I had a bunch of extra persimmons that were going to go bad during winter break so I sliced and froze with the skin on. Lemme tell you… best lo cal snack ever…. |
