Michelin starred restaurants in the DMV

...(or ones just as good)...

Which ones do you find "worth it"?

I saw the "overrated" thread -- which is super interesting...
Milestone event coming up, and looking to slurge -- was wondering what people thought was a worthwhile treat?

Rooster and Owl is maybe my favorite restaurant right now-- great food and service/vibe.

I had a really good meal at Cranes.

El Cielo was fun and delicious, although probably not a place I'd go to often.

Metier, Dabney and Rose's Luxury are all reliably good meals IME.

Some of the others I think belong in the overrated thread and some I haven't tried.

Anybody tried Jont? It is $$$$... does it knock your socks off?

I did go to Pineapple and Pearls for a milestone anniversary and it was a lot of fun. I'm not in a huge hurry to go again, but I enjoyed it.

+1 to el cielo. Causa is great too. Too new to have a star, but is definitely gunning for one.
