Mandarin immersion for preschool (MoCo)?

Looking for an effective Mandarin immersion program for a 4 year old. I know there is a public school option for immersion starting in kindergarten.

As background I am Chinese American but my Chinese is not great and I’ve had difficulty teaching at home.

My controversial opinion: Don't do mandarin immersion if you can't support it at home, unless you just want to go for cultural awareness

We went from YuYing pk3-4 and opted out of mcps mandarin immersion after a year. I am fluent in mandarin but spouse is not.

I support your opinion but could you elaborate on your experience? Are you saying you did support it bc you’re fluent, or that you didn’t? Why did you opt out?
