Are there any Virginia families who have children enrolled at Franklin Montesorri?

We love the school but commute logistics are a concern.

Are there any current or recent families who can speak about their commute experiences?

Are you talking about the Franklin in Rockville off Darnestown Road? There are a few families who live in VA on the classlists but I have never asked them about their commute or why they are coming up to MD. I assumed that they must work at NIH, Bethesda, or DC.

My husband has the opposite commute. He drops the kids off at Franklin and commutes to work in McLean/Tysons. The traffic is all about the beltway but there is only one exit for his normal route. He normally avoids 270 and takes Falls Road to Clara Barton and then gets onto the beltway to go over the bridge. In light traffic, he will take 270.
