Does anyone here know what’s going on with it? Are there sessions going on right now? It looks like it moved to a new website and when I try to look up the schedule nothing comes up. I would love to get my 5 year old on there for spring/leading up to summer but not sure if she’s offering lessons or where to get on her list. Thanks! |
Yes, there are sessions going on. Looks like the new website is still being built but she does say the waiting list is “350”. Dates and times here: https://www.swimwithbeth.com/page/swim-programs |
How much is that for 30 min or an hour per session? There is no price on it. |
If you have to ask, you can't afford. ![]() I honestly hate when sites don't list pricing. |
The sessions are 60 minutes each week, and it's like 330 for a session of 8 or so sessions. The instruction is so much better than the swim schools and leagues above those county classes so I see it as well worth it. My dd is on a year round swim team and we still do SWB for the stroke focus. |
Is this thread just an advertisement? |
New poster: why would someone with a 350 person wait list be advertising? |
They could just go to swim farm. |
Wait what? The wait-list has 350 kids? That's probably why when I inquired I never even got a response. |
There are a lot of other places to get quality instruction. |
PP I would love any other recommendations |
Like Beth? Can you share? |
What areas are you looking? |
If it is location then https://www.thej.org/j-fit/youth-swim-classes/ If willing to go to other pools check out the clubs - FISH, YORK, etc that all have great programs to teach competitive strokes to kids. If looking for a county program Alexandria City has one of the better learn to swim programs in the area. |
One of our swim team kids does coaching with SWB and she did some lessons with our kids this summer and was fantastic. It made me want to look at their program when I found out she did lessons with them. |
