I've been seeing my trainer 3/x for a year. I do 30 min sessions because I have a very tight window before leaving for work. Each is $90. Lately he's been chatting with other people (previous clients, employees) for the first 3-4 minutes of my session, so I'm only getting a 26 minute session before having to rush out.
Should I say something, or is this petty? |
Not petty. You should absolutely mention to him that he needs to focus on you the entire 30 minutes. $90 is a lot. I pay $110 for an hour. |
I’d be more concerned about that $90 half an hour rate. |
OP: You are not petty. |
I would just say something like, "All right! It's 3:30, so let's get started!" to get the point across and to not feel embarrassed like I was chastising anyone. |
Here is how I would put it: I noticed that the trainer often has conversations to complete at the beginning of my session and that I'd ask to move the session later so that he could do it at a time I'm not paying for, but that I don't have flexibility later. What does he suggest to resolve it? |
This. That's quite pricey for a half an hour. |
