Honors Precalc vs. Honors Precalc A/E

Anonymous
My 9th grader, who is in Honors Algebra 2 this year, is trying to decide between these two classes for next year. Does anyone have experience with Honors Precalc A/? (and what A/E stands for - just curious)

Both are weighted 5.0 and A/E is not AP so I'm not really sure if there's an advantage of taking A/E.

Thanks

I've never heard of A/E. The course bulletin only shows Honors Precalculus course number MAT2048A/MAT2048B:

OP here: It's on the sheet they handed out. Odd it's not in the course catalogue.

Could it be a typo and they meant DE, dual enrollment?

It's for super smart Math kids who find the class easy.

I bet it’s a typo for A/B, which just refers to each semester. That’s how all our year long math classes are marked.
