Help me find a wedding dress

Anonymous
Second marriage, 40F. Don’t know where to begin in terms of a wedding dress. I’m 5’3, large boobs, I’m in pretty good shape. Looking for any and all recommendations, thanks! Must be a dress, no skirts or pants.

This is really hard to respond to without more guidance. What do you like style wise? What is your venue? What time of day? Level of formality? What did your first gown look like and is there anything you would change this go-around?

Not criticizing but these EXTREMELY open requests don't tend to do well because there is no guidance beyond "wedding dress." Help us help you.

Short or long? What size are you? Any body areas you want to downplay?

Short, size 8, I have very slight mom pooch, boobs are 38 DD and need to figure out how to accommodate them. My first dress was strapless fitted Vera Wang and long. It was flattering.

Could you post some examples of dresses you like, and how much you're looking to spend?

What sort of wedding will it be - casual, formal, summer, winter, outdoors, indoors, etc?

I mean, do you want to look full “bridal,” or will you be giving a nod to the fact that this is second wedding, so something less formal? Or maybe blush pink or blue instead of white?

Nothing to add, just congrats!!

Just go to bridal shop.

I do think short dresses are too casual though

I liked that it was so easy to try on dresses at David’s.

Disagree and disagree. Short wedding dresses are classy and fun, especially for a second wedding. And why go to a bridal store when there are gorgeous dresses elsewhere for less money and with better style?
