How supported is FCCPS for special needs kids?

DS age 5 just diagnosed with ASD. We are currently in FCCPS but unsure of what to expect or if we're in the right place for him to be supported and thrive. Anyone have experience with speech therapy and/or special Ed in this district? What should we know?

was your child identified through the school as needing an evaluation? or was your child diagnosed outside of school with a doctor/neuropsych exam?

You couldn't be in a better school district to get services for this. Many people move to FCC just to get the sped services and that's been going on for many years.

He was diagnosed outside of a school.
