Anyone else do NOOM

Anonymous
I find their articles lame but I like tracking my calories. How do I find my foods more accurately? Anyone lost major lbs on this?

I started in October and was really good tracking but it was really hard to lose the 5 pounds. Then I started intermittent fasting and tracked with zero app. Much prefer that as it’s rather tedious to track calories. I still weigh myself daily which holds me accountable.

I like LoseIt much better. Straightforward, been anround for 10+ years, many customizations, and doesn’t treat me like an idiot. The tone of the Noom app is so snarky and millennial (or Gen z) I wanted to pull my hair out.

I really liked Noom. I lost about 10 pounds and go back to the program often. The articles are dumb, but they keep you on track.

I liked the concept of noom but was disappointed in the actual delivery of the program. Coaching I got was really weak and the canned content was so corney it annoyed me.

I just use Noom for the calorie tracking and daily weigh ins (free version). I'm down about 7 pounds in 6 weeks.

I looked into it, but my work/insurance pays for Omada. I'm going to see how that shakes out.

Noom is good for someone who needs to figure out why they are fat. I used it for the first 15 pounds and then was able to use the skills I learned for the next 30. The calorie tracker is meh, I like LoseIt better for that.
