| They seriously need to add more interchanges to the parkway and pretty much make it a limited access highway throughout its entirety |
| The deranged interchanges guy is back! |
| I'm old but I remember learning how to drive on this road before it was even finished. No one was on it and we used to go back and forth, back and forth, practicing. It was great. |
| Honest question, what is with you and your fetish for interchanges |
| The road wasn’t designed for cars to go as fast as they do now. Adding more interchanges will encourage even faster driving and without any other road improvements will just make accidents more deadly. There are large sections where taking away stoplights just isn’t possible without tearing down businesses and homes so it will never turn into an outer ring of the beltway. |
I think he’s also making all the posts in the thread. It’s all a bit cuckoo. |
I just like the way they look, the way they sound, the way they smell, how they're constructed and their functionality... Overall I think they're amazing feats of engineering and they should be everywhere. |
You realize the state can just come in and buy these businesses and homes out and build what they want, right? |
| Going off of my last post in the Potomac thread, what needs to happen is there needs to be a bypass built around Potomac so a road will eventually lead to the Potomac River and cross it where it meets up for route 28. |
There's no way that's happening. The people in Potomac have a lot of money and clout and will never allow a road to be built that isn't a two-lane road that crosses the Potomac and tries and bypasses their town |
