| Tell me about this SUV. Thinking about buying a 2020 or 2021. Looking for more space, performance, and a bit of luxury. TIA |

We had a 2015 Turbo S. It was great and awful at the same time.
Great for the amazing performance. And that’s all. Awful for reliability. Put 75k miles on it and traded before the next round of bills. Needed brakes about every 30k miles. Oh and they were carbon ceramic, and not under warranty, so $4,500. I’d imagine steel rotors are a lot cheaper. Avoid the carbon brakes. Sunroof had a leak that could never seem to get fixed despite a half dozen dealer visits just for that. Had to replace the heated passenger seat because of water leaks. AWD system would blow some kind of fuse regularly. So often we learned how to replace it ourselves. Happened more in the summer than the winter. AC would randomly blow hot air. Ball joints had to be replaced at 40k miles. That’s crazy. I wouldn’t own another one. |

We have a 2019 Cayenne base which I found enough performance for this size of vehicle. It’s all new and the body and panels are aluminum so it’s quite a bit lighter than the previous generation. Interior we found spacious and nearly the size of the Telluride even though it’s 2 row. Not sure what vehicle you are coming from but the interior finish and layout is a lot better than the X5 and feels very luxurious to us.
Lastly, get the 21” wheel and painted arch option, premium plus package, and roof rack (bc you cannot add it later). |

It’s a great vehicle. Perhaps the most reliable luxury brand. We own a 2015 model and we love it. It drives and handles so well that you don’t feel like you are driving a SUV. We have owned it for 7 years now and never had a problem with it.
Just be prepared to spend. Regular maintenance is not cheap. But I’m sure you already know that. |
| I have a 2020 base...really love the car. Drives like a sedan and has all the safety features. The interior is roomy my 18 year old can sit at the back with no complaints. i get it serviced at a dealer outside of the DMV metro proper to get better pricing. |
Can you share which one that is? |
