Cranford was good too, pre-Downton Masterpiece. Poldark Mr Selfridge wasn’t “amazing” but enjoyable |

Like almost all of Andrew Davies’ period pieces though Downton Abbey I didn’t care for that much (dragged on too many seasons)

Call the midwife? I really liked the early seasons in the post war period. I think we forget how affected England was by the war, for many years after. Later seasons are okay but just don’t have that historical resonance that the first seasons had.
