Protocol for IVF

Anonymous
I know that this is a completely random question, and I know that all women are different, but my RE has suggested IVF protocol with no BCPS, Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur with a trigger... then of course the endometrium.

My question is.. what cycle day would all of this start and do they still make you caon CD1 and come in on CD3? Generally what and how many days are you monitored?

I am trying to plan when a good time would be to shoot for this...

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated..Thank you!

this would start on cd2/3 for baseline u/s and b/w. if your b/w (mainly e2) is in normal range, you start stims cd3. stims go on for anyhwere b/n 8-12 days depending on hopw your respond. say your RE decides you are ready to trigger on CD 12, u take the HCG shot that eve and egg ret is 36 hrs later. embryo transfer is after 3-5 days, egg retreival day being day 0.

and for monitoring, at SG, they have u come in day2/3 and then around day 6 and then every other day (or everyday toward the of stimming).

I am a SG IVF "Grad" - my protocol started on CD3 - went in for baseline and monitoring of E2. Started stims that night. Used Lupron for suppressant and then incorporated Gonal-F and Menopur. Dosages altered after second, third, fourth and fifth monitoring appts. Added Ganirelix 3 days before trigger.
