| Well, I'm the ACOD in this situation, but it was kind of hard for me because my parent was single and I was next of kin. So I had to deal with major grief but also the estate stuff and clearing out and selling the home. My other parent was preoccupied with her new relationship and not very supportive, she would even complain about me not visiting her when I was spending 99% of my vacation time dealing with the estate. Honestly, it was awful. So if this is you, try to be understanding about what your child is going through. It's really a ton of work. |
