Hi

My 85lb 9.5 year old dog needs TPLO surgery. Her ligament is completely torn. Our vet cant do it until March and at that point its 1/2-1/4 of the way through medical management. We prefer not to go that route because of her size and the fact that she is still a youthful dog outside of this recent injury. She also has moderate hip dysplasia in the hip of the other leg so dont want to make that worse.

Looking for ortho recs in DMV area. Willing to travel.

Mat Glassman at Friendship is an extraordinary soft tissue surgeon and that department (Orthopedic and Specialty Surgery) has the surgery and rehab routine for doggie knees down to a science. They may not be able to get you in any sooner but it's worth asking.
