Long story, but just found out I have FSA funds I Need to spend in 2 days. Any ideas for $500-1000. I have a few small ideas, but mainly looking for big ticket easy items.
Can I get a medical gift card to use in the new year? I was thinking of a med spa or dermatologist. Is there a medical device I can buy without a prescriptions to gift or donate in the new year? |

Do you wear glasses? Get a spare pair, or prescription sunglasses.
Period underwear. At $35 a pair that can eat up money. Buy a bunch of sanitary products and donate them to DC diaper bank. Stock up on allergy medicine for spring. CVS carries a bunch of home diagnostic kits (cholesterol, thyroid, etc) if you've ever wanted to test yourself for a bunch of things without visiting a doctor. |
| Check your plan because you may be able to roll it into next year. If not, Amazon has a FSA/HSA store with approved items. When I have money I must spend I prepay for massages or get prescription sunglasses. |
| Many plans allow you to spend FSA money up to next March 2023. Check your plan. You may have a couple of months, not 2 days. |
| see how much you can roll over, do a lot of online FSA shopping, and get a massage each day. |

you cannot buy a gift card to use in the new year. |
A whole years supply of tinted SPF. Mine is 46 a bottle so I get 3-4 a year. Thats 175 right there. 5 days of period underwear at 30 per pop- 150. To get massages covered you need a LMN for most FSA plans. As far as using it through the next year, double-check. We are allowed to SUBMIT for reimbursement for items purchased in the year 2022 through March 2023 but you cant purchase something in Feb 2023 and get reimbursed from 2022 FSA funds. |
| Glasses and contact lenses would use up that amount in our household. |

This is OP. Thanks. I do have to use by 12/31
My family has already purchased glasses and contacts fierce year but We over-budgeted and took deductions on both mine and DH employers by $1200

| Go to CVS and stock up on cold medication. |
| Feminine hygiene products also |
| Just FYI that HSA's are not use or lose, only FSA's are. You can roll HSA's forward indefinitely. |

Here's what I bought:
Theragun Sunscreen (Supergoop as well as my It Cosmetics CC cream were both covered, so I bought two of each, plus sunscreen for the pool this summer) Tampons Children's Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Benadryl Sudafed (the good stuff) |
| If you don’t already have them, buy a couple of first aid kits to keep in cars or in convenient places in your house. I had to use tons of money a couple years ago and bought a few. We also purchased tampons/pads, period underwear, sunscreen, ankle and knee wraps, and hugs jars of Tylenol, advil, etc. |
| Contact cleaner and contact solution, plus new contacts! |
