Dermatologist in NOVA---recommendation needed

I am looking for a dermatologist in Northern Virginia. I need to get a skin check, so I would prefer a doctor who specializes in skin cancer detection/prevention. I would also probably prefer a female doctor. Thanks!

Not female, but I do recommend Glen Fuchs. He's highly respected and does medical dermatology. He can do cosmetic stuff if you want but he doesn't push it and doesn't come off as a salesman as I've experienced with other dermatology practices.

I go to Dr. Fuchs, too, and I like him. The wait to get in as a new patient will probably be long...when I first went I believe I had to wait several months for my appointment.

I have also heard good things about Michelle Rivera.

Michelle Rivera kept me waiting in the exam room an inordinate amount of time. I can NOT in good faith recommend her.

What does that have to do with her being a good doctor? Maybe she got backed up due to people being late for their appointments....

We like Dr. Nims and Dr. Barry in Vienna. There are also two other docs in the practice. Its an all-female practice.
