freezing cookies decorated with chocolate?

Why do people say not to freeze cookies decorated with chocolate, but it is okay to freeze cookies like chocolate chip cookies? Is it just because the chocolate will get cloudy?

I made a double batch of cookies that are supposed to be decorated on top with little swirls/ribbons of white chocolate. They are for various family members that I’m seeing tomorrow, then next weekend, and then the weekend after that. Won’t have time to decorate them three times, so I’d love to just decorate them all today. No one (myself or them) cares about a little chocolate bloom! I just wanted them to try the cookies, because I loved them the first time I made them.
