Minor bump in parallel parking…

Two days back I lightly bumped a vehicle behind me while backing out of parallel parked position. The vehicle behind me
was parked with no lights and driver sitting in. It was a very minor bump straight back to the license plate. I got out of the car and
exchanged phone numbers. I took pictures of the bumper and all looked good. Today the person in the car I bumped called
claiming the bump caused a scuff mark/scratch. Since I backed straight back it is impossible to cause the scratch he is claiming. The scratch is
in a peculiar location and scratch marks are horizontal. However since I
Did bump the vehicle it is hard to argue. While I have zero issues assuming responsibility for damages, I’m 100% certain this person is simply using the opportunity to
extort $$ from me. It’s a shame losers like this exist. Any advise on how I can challenge this?

Tell insurance what happened. Provide pictures you took. They’ll negotiate it out.
