| Vet appointment at 5:30 in rural VA for sick dog. UGH. Not looking forward to it. But after that it's the weekend, and this foster dog is pregnant. I think the benefits of getting her examined outweigh the driving risks... ? |

| OP may have been concerned about the warnings about "flash" freezing of wet roads (i.e. iciness) not just cold temps. Sounds like that hasn't come to pass which is great. |

| Roads are fine, but a lot of sidewalks are really slippery. All the rain flash froze solid. |
