I recently had my car washed thoroughly inside and out, but in the process, the cleaners destroyed the back window’s heat sensors.
Tonight when I went out to do an errand, they weren’t working. Any suggestions on how or where to get this fixed? Hopefully I won’t have to have the whole replaced. |
| Oh wow. Yeah, I was just telling a coworker that I often leave the car wash mad because I could have done as good or better a job as they do for less money. Not to mention the possibility of having your car damaged. If you type your year, make and model into youtube I'd bet good money that someone has made a video on the topic. |
| You can buy repair kits on Amazon that are essentially a specially formulated metallic paint. Use multiple coats to fix damaged conduit. |
| OP here, thanks for the replies! |
| Wow! |
| What heat sensors? You mean the rear defrost? |
| This is why I bought an iD4 EV. Goy tired of dealing with all these silly problems in regular cars. |
OP here, yes! I meant rear defrost. Thanks for the correct term. |
