Poll: how old are your kids and how many times have they been to the ER in their life?

All when they were little (2-4 years old), due to first asthma attack, bronchitis, serious allergic reaction and cut lip that needed stitches.

Me (35): 1 (and really I should have gone to urgent care but I was dumb and in my 20s and didn't know the difference)

14 Years old (1 trip to ER)
12 Years old (never)
Both boys.

14 yr old boy: 1
12 yr old girl with chronic illness:2
8 year old boty:6 times!

That number 3 is a daredevil!

16 - once for suspected intussusception (was sent there by the the pediatrician)
13 - once for croup, once for suspected scratched cornea

2 ce with the oldest. Then first time she was a newborn and it was a really really scary thing that we ended up a children's for weeks to resolve.

1ce with the little one for a nonnstop vomiting bug.
Both are girls and we havent had any broken bones yet.

11 - once for seizures

1 for croup (but we left because it resolved there)
1 for an accident that happened when he was with a family member, but it was a non-event (he ate some of their medicine)

DS, 9: twice (anaphylactic peanut reaction at 5, needed stitches at 6)
DS, 6: 0 (knock wood - he’s the daredevil of the three, so I’m guessing his time will come)
