New Feature: Embed Mastodon Posts

Since Twitter is turning into a massive dumpster fire, many users are turning to Mastodon. As such, I've just implemented a rather rudimentary method of embedding Mastodon posts (I refuse to call them "toots"). It works like the Twitter embeds. You click on the button in the button bar that says "Mastodon", past a link to the Mastodon post which is in the format:

https://masto.ai/@rbreich/109510504763967965

and then click the Mastodon button again.

I assume no liability if Elon Musk finds out about this and suspends your Twitter account.

I saw this today, thank you. So far my favorite twitter people are still holding on there and not at mastodon or post yet.

And seriously they call them “toots”? And I thought “tweet” was bad back in the day.

I don't think Post has a feature for embedding posts yet. I'll see what I can do though.
