I love DT and love supporting local places. But the quality has gone down for sure. They changed the way they do their veggies, the salads aren’t as fresh, and it overall just doesn’t taste as good. I know it’s a tough time for restaurants but please do some quality control!
Yeah we had some stringy beef a few weeks ago…
I feel like they’ve gone through several models.
I’ve never been much of a fan. I like Bandit Taco - give it a try.
I just had it for the first time and hated it. Sorry to hear it's been declining.
Same. I got a really gross salad a few months ago and haven't been back since.
Here as well. Their menu changed and overall quality has gone down. Stopped going there since last summer. Taco Bamba is great and they are opening multiple locations around the DMV area.
It's been bad for a while.

I agree. Before the pandemic they were so good. I've seen that Tortas y tacos La chiquita in Arlington is highly rated, but we haven't tried it yet. Has anyone else?

I was just thinking about this last week. Been a huge fan for years and have used them to cater a dinner for teachers at my school. They’ve loved it. We did our usual order in August before school started, and something didn’t seem right. Our PTO catered lunch for us last week, and it just wasn’t that great. Except for the pico. That is always great.
Who orders salad at a taco joint? |
I’m just upset that they got rid of kids meals.
I'm glad you posted because I had heard his things about it a while ago but just tried it for the first time recently and I was wondering g how my coworkers had such horrible taste. It was really bad.
I agree.
Totally agree. It took a big dive during the height of the pandemic, and never came back. We try it every 6 months, hoping for a return, but I think they are in a death spiral. At one point they were charging extra if you wanted pico as your salsa and it was almost all onions. Now you cannot even order it. The quality of all their food declined.
