What now LCPS

Now there are threats to several schools in LCPS for tomorrow?

I'm finding it interesting that LCPS and LCSO say "trust it - it's safe" when they can't even keep students from raping each other.

Which schools?

What are you talking about? Source?

My child is at trailside and we got an email on this. It sounds like they are just covering themselves after all that has happened this week. I'm not super worried.

What is the source of this info? My DD is in an elementary school in Ashburn, and we’ve heard nothing.

We get this email every year. It’s based on almost nothing, usually some one off social media post that’s like “schools better watch out tomorrow.” They add a few more useless SROs to the parking lot and that’s it. However, some of you who have simply LOVED Fox News and Ian Prior and Matt Walsh targeting our district for the last 2 years and making it sound like we’re the basement of Comet Ping Pong should probably consider stuff like this more often. You draw the attention of absolute NUTSOs to our schools and community, willingly. Putting all your kids at risk.

I worry about this every time the latest round of grifting protestors show up at the school, with media in tow. I told my kid not to talk to the media, not to engage with the protestors, and to get into the school building quickly.

I drove my kid today - I didn't know what was going to be happening. Extra security but nothing seemed abnormal

Let me guess what the email said: “right wing terrorists are going to come after the school and kids” Something along those lines.

I guess the schools should stop covering up incidents that occur
