Are they understaffed and way behind or something?

Our old preschool had its license suspended by the state at the beginning of October for losing a child. The suspension was upheld in court. I understand the school has since been allowed to reopen (we left), but I’m appalled that details of the violation (and numerous others that were cited when OCC came to inspect) have not been posted online anywhere. Meanwhile the school is recruiting new families. Is this normal?

I think it takes a while for these to get posted on checkccmd. I haven't seen any inspections posted after June.

Ah, thanks. As a parent it makes me really upset that there is such a lag. People should have this information when they are making decisions to enroll.

What do you mean they “lost” a child? What happened? Did the child manage to wander off-site?

Yeah sorry that was vague. The child wandered off site and was found and returned to the school by a third party. The school did not self-report. The third party reported the incident and the parents were only notified the next day.
