Where to find cassoulet beans?

Anonymous
I usually order from Rancho Gordo but I only need one pound, not enough to justify the shipping charge. Please suggest stores that carry dried cassoulet (or tarbais) beans in Northern Virginia (inside beltway) or NW DC. Thanks.

Great white are just fine. Cassoulet is a dish made from leftovers. There is no specific bean one must have.

bread and chocolate stocks rancho gordo beans, im sure they'll have the tarbais bean.

Ah, DCUM, never fails to tell me the question is wrong instead of answering the question itself!

FWIW this is for a special dish for someone who has requested it per a recipe they can no longer make themselves. So I'd like to stay true to the recipe as best as I can.
