No, we'll know tonight, based on current results. PA may very well not matter.

PA may matter the most.

This is the kind of commentary I am looking for on this thread.

Ohio was always going red.

I thought they would split and Sherrod would win. How is he doing?

He is losing.

+1 All that you said.

No, we are inherently racist, sexist, and colonialist.

Do you honestly believe that Republican voters care about babies to fight for pro life when they don't care about gun violence?

I write this as a white woman.

Transgender make up such a small population.

It could be the immigrant issue but they post lies and fear tactics.

They should have voted for Harris as a vote against the vile disgusting person that is Trump.

Then figure out the rest through other channels.

The Trump voters make me sick.

"Figure out the rest through other channels"?? Honey, Democrats have had almost four years to "figure it out." Instead, they've allowed millions of illegal immigrants into our country. Forgive us if the rest of us are sick to death of your utter inability to figure it out.
DP

Nobody hates illegal immigrants more than legal immigrants who received work permits and green cards legally and had to pay for immigration lawyers. They do not want illegals to get pathway to citizenship and Tons of welfare as reward for breaking the law.

I can’t even drive to Canada without a passport so how can undocumented people travel freely and get bused conveniently to swing states, and subsidized for illegally carpet bagging here? Why are Dems upset Trump nixed the prior bill? It’s because that bill would’ve gave automatic citizenship to the illegals so they could have voted in tonight’s election. The Dems wanted to cheat

Says someone who knows no immigrants.

Except for my family.

They came here to work. The “newcomers” (Biden/Harris admin’s word for illegal Immigrants) now are coming here to retire.

20,000/ year in food stamps when everyone else in the country is struggling to pay for groceries is a huge scandal that’s worth impeachment. The Democrats are either intentionally stupid or they’re pushing illegals because their internals show they lost their entire base after 2016’s Bernie Sanders snub

Yep it is being done on purpose.

There is bigotry and misogyny for sure, but the loathing for Trump voters from dems is pretty off putting.

Ya think?

From Nate Cohn:

It’s still very early in Pennsylvania, but in the first few counties where voting is complete, along with hundreds of completed precincts across the state, Trump is running ever so slightly better than he needs to win.

Anonymous wrote:It's laughable to me—a progressive—when I see Trump supporters act like they're scoring some kind of victory against us on stuff like immigration. Mass deportations( whatever that means and however it is implemented) will create severe labor shortages across multiple industries that typically rely on unskilled labor. This will in turn force companies to compete for workers in ways they don't want and or, aren't used to. Inevitably you'll end up with much higher prices than what we have now.
Even with a national abortion ban, the days of white women having six or seven kids are long gone and will not come back. So, if you voted for Trump because your ignorance and cowardice had you blaming dems instead of corporate greed, then get ready, it's only getting started. This progressive will watch with glee as companies go under for failing to attract or not being able to sustain the inevitably high starting wages that workers will command because of market forces created by your mass deportations.

Cool story, bro. And a "national abortion ban"? Not happening. Stop the fear mongering.

“Roe v Wade is settled”.

F off.

The breadth of your vocabulary is truly astounding! You must be super intelligent.

NP. Are you the “cool story, bro” poster?

Also men competing against women in sports.

In my home state (Massachusetts) men have been allowed on women’s sports teams and women on men’s teams if there is not an equivalent for the other sex since Title IX passed in 1970. For instance, men can play field hockey and women can play ice hockey with the other sex if it’s not offered for their sex. In the 1990s / high school my good female friend played on a men’s ice hockey team. I think there are problems with that approach, but I’m also not sure why this is the angle people are worked up about when I’m assuming Mass isn’t the only state where this has been in effect my entire lifetime.

Can we just pause and think for a moment about the stupidity of basing a vote on college sports? I mean… the fall of American democracy, reproductive rights, climate change…? And you’re worried that your DD won’t make the Lacrosse team.

DP/NP. It isn't just about the lacrosse team. It is about how the "lacrosse team" turns into so much more, as it already is. Men who want to be in bathrooms with little girls and use the excuse of I'm transgender, and so on. Too many people like you have hurt the Dems for not caring about the safety of girls. We care about abortion but not our girls. And as a party we have not been able to see how that nuance has hurt us. That Title IX is just one example of the myopic view the party has had. A felon can win because the Dems have not been realistic enough to see the damage their limited view has caused.

Anyway, I just feel despair that we have done this to ourselves.

I keep, seeing this storyline - which is always splashed all over Fox News - being made this huge thing. How many times have trans men been actually found to do this? Now how many nice straight adult coaches and pastors been found to be molesting kids? That’s a story where we see arrests all the time.
