| Anyone know when Macalester EA decisions will be released? I know they have said 'before 12/21' but suspecting it may be before? |

| DK but GL! Really wanted DC to go there but they had other ideas. That said, they are delighted where they are even if less convenient for all. |

| My kid who applied EA got an email from Mac's admissions within the past 1-2 days asking if they had accepted any other college via early decision - our inference is that Mac is making its final determinations and hoping to clear off a few applicants. |

Yes, my DC got the same note. The 18th is a Saturday; would they notify people over the weekend? I was guessing Monday the 19th. |

| This may not be relevant for you, but just FYI, Mac is one of the small group of schools requiring students who already had the old booster to now get the new bivalent one. |

| Mac often notifies on weekends. ED1 notification was on Sunday 12/4. |

I phoned the admissions office at about 1:20 pm Eastern and was told applicants will receive an update in their admissions portals on the 21st. |
