How would you do this?
I signed up to bring 30 chicken nuggets to the preschool party. Store bought from ChickFila, McDonald’s etc. Party starts at 10. I thought, I have between 8:45-10 to get them. Now I realize there is a school wide Christmas concert at 9 am. I finish dropping off my middle schooler at 8:45. Now… even if I could get that arranged, I also drop off the preschooler (whom the party is for) between 8:10-8:30. Closer to 8:30 is the reality. Do I buy them the night before? Isn’t that gross? Food safety a concern? And, how would I heat them up if I’m busy all morning? |
Buy night before, heat up in the oven and transport in an insulated carrier. |
McDonalds McNuggets don’t reheat well. Please don’t serve those reheated. Chick fil a might be better or buy some frozen dinosaur chicken nuggets and rcook and put in insulated container. |
Buy a small catered nugget tray from CFA (it's more than you need, but the teachers can eat the leftovers). They will come warm in a disposable foil pan; put that in an insulated container. |

I'd get them delivered. Chik Fil A delivers, and you can also order them on Uber Eats. |
You can't get nuggets delivered that early. Buy the night before, reheat and store in insulated container. |
Ok thank you all. Very helpful.
I’ve never been able to order the foil catering trays at my local chick fil a. Only if you do a whole party. Regardless I will buy the night before, heat in morning—I have empty foil containers—and put in a hot bag. Then I’ll drive it around all morning, and grab it out of the car between concert and party. |
