When did LCPS start 6th grade algebra?

I was under the impression this has been around for a long time. Looking at SOL results, it looks like this maybe only started around 2015. They got rid of it for 2021-2022 with only 3 students in the county, then brought it back with a tougher selection process for 2022-2023, though this could be a result of school closures causing scores to drop.
